Responsibilities for the Structural Engineer
Responsible for developing accurate and timely price quotations using VP Command plus additional structural analysis programs (RISA, STAAD, etc) and interfacing with outside Structural Engineering firms and Fabricators
Providing preliminary design and details complete estimating, pricing and technical support as well as limited training and assist in developing quotations to Direct Sales, VP Builders and Corporate Account Clients.
Prepare complete, accurate and competitive pricing and proposals from plans and specifications
Prepare proposal drawings or sketches as needed to properly convey proposal intent to the end customer.
Understand how to estimate simple to complex building designs frequently involving large-span frames, heavy multiple cranes, multi-story structures or other unique parameters
Provide sufficient preliminary design engineering and product application recommendations on a wide variety of projects
